The Madison Wedding | Kaelyn & Ben

There are some wedding days that just wrap you up in warmth, even when the air outside is crisp and cold — and Kaelyn and Ben’s beautiful celebration at The Madison was exactly that. From the very beginning of the day, there was a cozy magic in the air.

We started with the gorgeous details: soft textures, sparkling bridal accessories, and meaningful keepsakes from both Kaelyn and Ben. Her stunning Vow’d gown, perfected by Amazing Alterations, hung gracefully near the window while the thoughtfully chosen rings from Rare Carat glimmered alongside her bouquet from Studio B Floral. Their invitations from TheKnot tied it all together with simple, elegant charm.

Upstairs, laughter spilled out from the bridal suite as Kaelyn and her bridesmaids — clad in matching PJs — shared morning mimosas, music, and the best kind of pre-wedding excitement. Primped worked their magic on hair and makeup, giving the room an extra dose of glow. These PJ photos were such a fun and heartfelt start to the day, capturing each friend’s joy for Kaelyn.

One of the sweetest moments of the morning was Kaelyn’s first look with her dad. As soon as he turned around, his expression softened into pure pride and emotion — a moment that had all of us feeling it right along with them.

Then it was time for the first look with Ben. He had been buzzing with excitement the whole morning, and the second he saw Kaelyn, his face lit up with the biggest smile. It was one of those moments that reminds you exactly why first looks are so special — quiet, genuine, and overflowing with love.

This was my first time photographing at The Madison since the venue transitioned to its new ownership, and I had the absolute pleasure of working closely with the owners throughout the day. They were fantastic — thoughtful, organized, and genuinely invested in giving Kaelyn and Ben the perfect experience. It was wonderful to see the care they poured into every part of the venue.

Their ceremony was warm and heartfelt, with Rustic Elegance coordinating seamlessly behind the scenes. Afterward, guests enjoyed delicious catering from Lake Elmo Inn, danced to music curated by Adagio DJ Entertainment, and visited Eric Vest Photography’s “The I Do Booth” for fun photo booth memories. Studio Veil captured the day on video, preserving all the heartfelt moments in motion, while the cake from Dorothy Ann Bakery delighted everyone who stopped by the dessert table.

The wedding party looked incredible as well — Kaelyn’s bridesmaids in elegant dresses from Azazie, Ben in his suit from Milbern Clothing, and the groomsmen matching in Milbern Clothing suits of their own. Everything came together seamlessly and stylishly.

As the night came to a close, we stepped outside for sparkler photos — glowing lights crackling against the cool night air, everyone laughing and celebrating around the newlyweds. It was the perfect warm ending to a chilly, joy-filled day.
