Two awesome things happen at engagement sessions. First, we get to team up and document a stage of life that will never happen again for you! Seriously, my wife and I love our wedding photos but our engagement photos hold an equally special place in our hearts! The second awesome thing that happens at your engagement session is we get to hang out and get to know each other! Then, when your wedding day rolls around you have already been in front of the camera, you know what to expect, and we've become friends! This makes your wedding day that much more relaxed!

Can you say winter wonderland?! The forecast said no snow anywhere around this session until the night before! Jenny & Jack were all in and and we had such a blast! It was fairytale snow! Love this sweet couple and I can’t wait for their wedding day next fall!

I could hang out with these two all day! Holly & Jon are so easy going and fun to be with! I can’t wait for their wedding next June! We explored Father Hennepin Park, walked across Stone Arch, and hit dusk in the Mill City Ruins area! On the way back there was an ice cream truck and we just had to stop!!!

Claire & Bear’s family farm engagement session was crazy fun! I have known Claire & her family for years and they are just the sweetest! So honored to capture these images for these two and so much fun getting to know Bear! Then throw in cowboy/cowgirl boots, a vintage truck, corn fields…! This evening was so much fun!!!

When I think of this fall engagement session at Lebanon Hills Regional Park with Natasha & Thomas, I just smile! Love how easy it is to be around these two! This was a perfect sunset evening in Hastings with Marissa & Stephen! Marissa has been a bridesmaid in two weddings I have photographed and it was such a treat to get to hang out and get to know both Marissa & Stephen better! Such a sweet couple and I can’t wait for their wedding! We had a beautiful cloudy evening with the sun peaking out for a moment right at sunset!
