Chris & Albany’s wedding day arrived and just before I walked out the door Chris texted me. He was wondering if it was ok to switch the his groom getting ready location to the house that his parents had rented for their weekend in town. I said that it was totally fine and headed out the door. When I arrived and caught the vibe in the house, it hit me – he wanted all the guys to get ready with his parents around to honor them by being together. How cool is that? The while I was photographing Chris’ detail photos he came downstairs to write personal letters to his bride and to his parents! When I got to the church to check in with Albany this same feeling of joy was there as well! Albany was far more concerned about taking care of her ladies and honoring her mom than about having every detail just so. This heart of honoring others carried on throughout the entire day and what a blessing these two are!
Their ceremony was at the beautiful All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville where Chris & Albany had their first look! Their courtyard area behind the church is absolutely beautiful! One such special thing that stuck out to me during their wedding ceremony is when they did mass, both Chris & Albany came down in front and served their guests. Once again, this spirit of honor and class throughout! Following their ceremony we headed to the family farm in Northfield! Complete with a beautiful white barn, tall grass, and pine trees!
Then off to The Northfield Ballroom where 300+ guests where mingling and socializing! After a buffet styled dinner, toasts were made, tears where shed, and dancing began! Chris & Albany began their first dance. Then Chris stepped back and tossed aside his jacket! And they began to swing dance with incredible grace and style! So much fun! We even ended the night with a little fun in the rain! Very happy for these two!
