Mary Beth & Hunter got married on a beautiful fall day! This couple is truly something special and their wedding day was an amazing reflection of that! Their day started at The Saint Paul Hotel just after they finished their wedding day preparations! Hunter was wearing a dashing suit from Milbern’s, Mary Beth was in a stunning wedding dress from Bridal Accents Couture, and they were all ready and so excited to see each other for their first look! Loved the joy on their faces when they saw each other for the first time! This love and joy literally just continued to grow more and more the longer they were with each other throughout the day!
After their first look, we did some photos just outside the Saint Paul Hotel where their reception would be later! We walked across the street to Rice Park and the surrounding areas for couples and wedding party photos! The bridesmaids were wearing elegant velvet dresses that paired perfectly with their bouquets from the talented Marah Cole Designs! After we took wedding party photos, we went over to the church for family photos!
Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church is beautiful! The grounds are just stunning and I always love taking photos here! We did family photos and a few more full wedding party and couples photos with the church in the background! Then Mary Beth asked if we could take some photos of a generational Bible that each of the brides on her side have carried down the aisle with them! There were names and signatures dating all the way back to 1939 inside! So cool! Just before the ceremony, Mary Beth and her mom shared a special moment where she wrote her name in it! Their wedding ceremony was lovely and I loved the way these two were looking at each other during their vows!
After the ceremony was over, all the guests headed over to The Saint Paul Hotel for a social hour before dinner! If you have gotten married at or worked at this venue, you know Mary Jo is the heart of this venue! This was her second to last wedding before she retired, so it was special to work with her one more time! She brought the couple and their parents into the reception room to see their space before guests came in and the bride and her mom shared a hug and tears of joy!
Guests were then welcomed into the space, dinner was served (it was so good!), toasts happened, and then it was time to dance! The couple shared their first dance with the amazing Blue Water Kings Band playing in the background! Then Hunter and his mom danced together! And their Mary Beth, her mom, her sister & niece did a choreographed dance together! The floor opened up to all and wow did people dance! Love how live bands pack the dance floor and especially Blue Water Kings Band!
Then, before the night was over, I snuck these two outside for a few night photos! There were twinkle lights up in a few of the trees already and we enjoyed a few quite moments in the cool night air! What a day and congrats to these two lovebirds!
