Lovey, sweet, gentle, kind… all words that quickly come to mind when I think of Becca & Mike! Their wedding day started with detail and prep photos at the beautiful and historic Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas at the University of St. Thomas. Mike got into his classy suit from Suit Supply and looked so sharp in his double breasted grey vest! After he was ready, Mike read a letter from Becca that brought smiles and meaningful tears! Meanwhile, Becca got ready with her bridesmaids in a room was filled with laughter, fun stories, and joy! Creative Beaute Agency did a fabulous job on their hair and makeup! When she was ready, her mom helped her into her beautiful dress from Grace Loves Lace! Then she read a sweet note from Mike that brought out some sweet emotions just before their first look together!
It was a little chilly on Becca & Mike’s wedding day, so we found a little break from the wind in the gardens behind the church. We started with their first look and Mike could hardly believe how beautiful Becca looked! We did more photos around the chapel and then the wedding party joined us! The ladies looked amazing in their bridesmaids dresses from Azazie! Such a fun group of people and they were such good sports about the cool temps! And how beautiful are the bouquets that Haute House Studio arranged?! We went inside and did some photos with family members before the service started!
Then their ceremony started and Becca looked so happy walking down the long aisle with her dad! Mike was smiling ear to ear and looked so proud! They had a beautiful service and exchanged vows! Then they were pronounced husband and wife! After the ceremony, everyone headed over the Riverside Room at Minneapolis Event Center for cocktail hour. While guests enjoyed visiting, we did a few more photos on Stone Arch Bridge! When cocktail hour finished, it was time for the grand march! After they were announced and danced in, they did the ceremonial breaking of the glass! So fun! Randy with Instant Request did a great job at master of ceremonies and dinner was served (a very good dinner by Elite Catering & Events I might add!)! Thoughtful toasts were given by both fathers, the maid of honor, best man, and Mike’s sisters! Such kind things said about these two!
After they cut their lovely cake from Buttercream Cakes, they did their first dance! Love the smiles on their faces while they shared this in front of all their family and friends! Right after, Becca shared a dance with her dad and then Mike shared a dance with his mom! Once the dance floor opened to all, they did some fun traditional Jewish dances! Such a great day filled with so much love! Congrats Becca & Mike!
