When I first met Rachel & Joel, their joy, humor, and love for each other made me just smile! I knew their wedding day would be filled with all the same elements and it was exactly that! Everything took place in Pepin, Wisconsin at Hidden Meadow & Barn! Rachel got ready in the bridal suite with her closest friends! Megan Amy did their hair and The Artist Bre did a fabulous job on their makeup! Before getting in her dress, Rachel took a quite moment to open a gift from Joel. It was filled with meaningful gifts and a very sweet letter that made her cry! Meanwhile, Joel was hanging out in the groom’s room with the four boys! It was so fun to see Rachel’s two sons and Joel’s two sons interact and celebrate and support their parents. The boys helped Joel get in his suit from Lafreddo’s Alterations and made sure he was looking good! Before their first look, Joel also opened a book/letter and gifts from Rachel! He cried too so they were even!

Just before their first look, Rachel did a first look with her dad and he was overjoyed and so happy! She then did a first look with her boys where tears were shed and she gave them meaningful bracelets to remind them of her love for them. Then the couple shared their first look! Joe’s face says it all! Rachel looked beautiful in her dress from JJ’s House! We then did couple’s portraits around the barn and laughed so much! The groom’s dad was a florist and had a special moment presenting the couple with the groom’s boutonniere and the bridal bouquet. They were lovely! Then we did some photos with the boys, some with Rachel’s girl friends, and family photos!

The ceremony took place in the Hidden Meadow & Barn’s beautiful outdoor ceremony space! Rachel & Joel involved so many people that they love in their ceremony and it was truly special! They exchanged vows and were announced for the first time as a married couple! The couple greeted their guests and all were welcomed into the reception space. On their way in, each guest was given an wine tasting board that was custom made by the couple! Look how beautiful their reception space looked as well! This entire day, Christina from Lovelee Occasions was working behind the scenes to make sure everything went off without a hitch!

Dinner was catered by River Valley Catering and was delicious! The couple said some words of appreciation for everyone there and then speeches happened. Their sons are so thoughtful and said some very nice words along with both dads. The couple then cut the cake made by Cream of the Cakes! And guests enjoyed lots and lots of cupcakes! Each flavor was named after someone involved in the wedding! Such a fun idea! When you get married at Hidden Meadow, you have to do sunset photos! So we took a moment to enjoy the sunset! Then it was back in for special dances! Rachel & Joel shared their first dance, Rachel danced with her dad, Joel danced with his mom, and Rachel danced with each of her sons. Such special moments during this time! Then it was open dance with a little break for some sparkler photos before I took off! Congrats Rachel & Joel!
