A horse drawn carriage from their ceremony to Rush Creek Golf Club for their wedding reception?! Yes please!
Lily & Charlie’s day was so full of life! Lily got her hair & makeup done in the bridal suite at Rush Creek Golf Club by Spark Salon Maple Grove! They did a great job! As soon as she was ready, she got in her beautiful dress from The Wedding Shoppe and the bridesmaids put on their dresses from David’s Bridal. While they got ready, the guys were getting ready in the groom’s locker. Charlie put on his sharp grey suit from Macy’s and the groomsmen put on their suits from Men’s Wearhouse. Everyone looked so good!
Just before the couple’s first look, Lily did a first look with her dad! Look at the happiness and pride on his face! Then the couple shared their first look outside with parents watching from a distance! Charlie’s face was pure joy when he saw his bride! The sun was off and on during their photos so we utilized the amazing shady areas of Rush Creek! We started with couple’s photos and then added in the wedding party! Look at those beautiful florals by The Wild Orchid!
We then made our way over to the church for their ceremony! Lord of Life Lutheran Church is less than a mile away and a beautiful church! After taking family photos outside, we went indoors and got ready for the ceremony! Guests arrived and the ceremony took place! These two were absolutely beaming! After the ceremony ended, the witnesses signed the marriage license and the couple went into a side room while guests gathered outside for their send-off from the church! Everyone blew bubbles and cheered as the couple walked through and boarded their horse drawn carriage! It was sprinkling a little bit and The Hitching Company was well prepared with a carriage covering! I always love working with this company – they are so classy and kind! The driver and I created a plan and found a spot to take a few couple’s portraits with the carriage before headed to the reception! Loved this!
Guests made their way to Rush Creek and enjoyed a cocktail hour there! The grand march happened, everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner, and their loved ones gave very kind, meaningful speeches! The couple cut their cake and then shared their first dance together as husband and wife! Lily shared a tear and laughter filled dance with her dad which was so sweet. Once into the open dance, the couple and I went outside for sunset photos! Sunset at Rush Creek is unbelievably beautiful! What a great way to wrap things up! As I left, guests were still enjoying Eric Vest Photography’s “The I Do Booth” and getting lots of fun photo strips to take home as keepsakes! Congrats Lily & Charlie!
