Jen & Dave’s beautiful wedding day started out with preparations at Hyland Hills Chalet where their reception would be held later in the day. While Jen had her hair and make-up done by Laura Westrem Artistry, I took flat-lay photos or all her incredible details! My friend Tami brought me some extra floral cuttings to use in the flat-lays and it’s just one of the many reasons I love working with Studio B Floral Design! Then Jen put on her stunning lace dress from The Wedding Shoppe! Amy Jane Studio did a great job altering the wedding gown to fit her perfectly! Dave put on his handsome suit from The Suit Shop and he looked so good!

The couple shared a private first look outside and they were bubbling over with joy as they saw each other for the first time all dressed and ready for their day! We did couple’s photos around the buildings and even ventured up the ski hill for a few shots around the pine trees! Then the wedding party joined us for photos as well. The groomsmen were all wearing suits from The Suit Shop and the ladies got their bridesmaids dresses from The Wedding Shoppe as well. They all looked so good! Before we went over to the church we did family photos!

Jen & Dave’s wedding ceremony took play at Living Hope Lutheran Church in Bloomington! Loved the emotion of both Jen & her dad as they walked the aisle towards Dave! So special. It was a beautiful ceremony with lovely hymns and sweet vows! Then they were announced as husband and wife!!!

Their reception took place back at Hyland Hills Chalet and included a social hour, dinner catered by Chef Jeff Catering, and speeches. Instead of doing a cake cutting, the couple did a “first scoop” of ice cream! Love it when couple’s make it their own! The couple shared their first dance and then did something special with the parent dances. Jen started the father/daughter dance together with her dad and then invited all the fathers and daughters in the crowd to join them for the remainder of the song. Dave did the same, starting the dance with his mom and then inviting all the mothers and sons onto the dance floor! Such a fun day!
