Megan & Brendan are my good friends. I met Megan years ago when she was a bridesmaids in another wedding and then soon after I photographed another of her friend’s weddings. She was the go-to day of wedding coordinator at that wedding and we became fast friends! I was seated next to Brendan for dinner at that wedding and we had a blast chatting during dinner! I knew this dude was awesome but I had no idea the fun we’d all have down the road! Fast forward to August ’24 and it was Megan & Brendan’s turn!

The day started with Megan getting ready at the church with her mom and mother-in-law to be! Love how she included her moms! Brendan got ready with the help of his brothers and dad and we laughed so much! After Megan was in her beautiful wedding dress from Xandy’s Bridal and Brendan was in his dashing suit from State & Liberty, these two where ready! Just before the ceremony, Megan shared a first look with her dad that was so sweet!

The small, family only ceremony took place at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church! I love that this is what the couple wanted to do, so they did it! It was beautifully intimate and so stress-free! After they were married, their family hugged them and gave their excited congratulations! Then we all went over to the reception space!

Their reception took place at Elm Creek Park Reserve Chalet in Maple Grove and it was perfect! We did family photos and then drove around doing couple’s photos as guests started arriving at the reception space! Once guests were all there, Megan & Brendan entered the building to the cheering of excited guests ready to celebrate! They stood on a platform in front of the grand fireplace and shared personal vows for their guests to hear! Then, cocktail hour began and the couple mingled with their friends and family.

Dinner was then catered by Gastrotruck, we snuck out for some sunset photos, dessert and toasts happened, and the dancing began! The couple shared their first dance, Megan danced with her dad, Brendan danced with her mom, and then Megan shared a special dance with her mom! I love how much these two love their families and honored them throughout the whole day! We ended with a few night photos and this wrapped up the perfect ending to a perfect day!
