Leigh & Tim’s wedding day was nothing short of extraordinary! They planned their wedding in such a short window of time—between deployments for both of them as they both serve in the Navy. After spending four years stationed on an aircraft carrier in Japan, where they first met onboard, this day was a true celebration of their love, resilience, and the life they’ve built together.
Their sunrise ceremony was originally planned for the tranquil Japanese Gardens at Como Park, but when torrential downpours rolled through, the team at Como quickly transitioned the celebration inside. The ceremony unfolded in the breathtaking Sunken Gardens in the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory where the lush greenery and vibrant blooms created a magical backdrop as the morning light streamed in.
Later in the day, the skies cleared, and we were able to take Leigh & Tim back to the Japanese Gardens for portraits—right on the rock where they would have exchanged their vows. It was such a meaningful and beautiful moment!
The joy between these two, and the love surrounding them from their families, made every part of the day beautiful. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe the feeling of getting to celebrate a couple who has given so much through their service!
An extra thank you to the incredible staff at Como Zoo & Conservatory for going above and beyond to make the day seamless and memorable!
