Amy & Zach are kind, loving souls! Their ceremony & reception took place at the beautiful Legacy Hill Farm in Welch, Minnesota! This late April wedding day was on and off rain and strong winds all day and we even went under a tornado warning during the dance portion of the evening! But one thing about a love like Amy & Zach’s – weather, circumstances, even tornado’s have zero impact on the joy and love shared! This wedding was a blast start to finish and I’m so happy for these two!

Mar & Mike! If you know these two you understand why I smile when I start to talk about them! Kind, fun, joyfilled, amazing, energetic… and this just scratches the surface! Their day started at The Lumber Exchange downtown Minneapolis where they got ready in the groom’s quarters and bridal suite! Their first look took place out front and Mike’s reaction was so sweet! Fast forward to their ceremony at St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church (love this church community!) where they officially became husband and wife! Right after, we all rode a limo bus to Orchestra Hall Plaza for some photos! On the way, Mar & Mike had bibs and Raising Cain’s chicken for everyone! So fun! Then it was back to The Lumber Exchange for their reception! Their grand march was so cool with live rhythms from the Amwaaj music group! Later that night, we even caught some golden hour photos on top of the parking ramp! Such a perfect day! Love these two!

Michaela & David’s wedding ceremony took place at St. Therese in Deephaven and their reception followed afterwards at Oak Ridge Country Club! So many beautiful moments throughout this day but one special one that really stood out to me was right at the beginning of the day. David’s grandmother gifted him the ring that his late grandfather wore before he passed. It was such a special moment between these two and you could see how proud she was of David written all over her face.
After the ceremony we went throughout Wayzata and took photos! Such a beautiful day! Michaela loves the lake and we were able get some photos on the docks as well! Then just before the toasts at their reception we snuck out onto the golf course for a stunning sunset! Loved this day with these two!

Emily & Ryan’s wedding day at Redeemed Farm was absolute perfection! You cannot describe the beautiful love these two share with only words! You have to see it! Their actions to each other, the way they smile together, the loving tone with which they talk to one another… I could go on! Love these two humans and I’m so grateful to know them! Their wedding day was a fun mix of sun, clouds, and even a little rain!

I knew from the get go that Karly & Chris’ wedding day was going to be amazing and it was everything I dreamt it would be! Their wedding ceremony was at the Edina Campus of Wooddale Church and it was stunning! Then their reception followed at the always beautiful Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove! From tears during special letter readings to each other to start the day to their sweet little Harper dancing on the dance floor, this day was perfection!

About 10 minutes after Lauren & Andrew’s first look, Andrew turned to Lauren and said, “I feel like I haven’t taken a breath since I saw you!” He was stunned by his brides beauty and it was so sweet! Love how they treat each other and how kind they are! Lauren & Andrew had a beautiful wedding ceremony outside, down by the river at Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens and it was literally perfect! Love this venue, this couple, and this whole day!

What a gorgeous wedding day for Natalie & Matt at Abella Weddings & Events in Chisago City! The day began with getting ready at the beautiful prep spaces on site at the venue. Natalie got ready in the cute white cottage on the property and had her hair and make-up done by the talented Abby Sundquist! While she was getting ready I arranged and photographed all her amazing details! She even had a spool of ribbon and a few spare florals put aside by Florals by Claire for the flat lays! After Natalie was finished getting ready and put on her beautiful Raffine Bridal wedding dress, we did first looks with her bridesmaids (look at their reaction!) and her dad! During her first look with her dad was the moment I knew how close this sweet family was! Beautiful tears of emotion!
I also went over and did some flat lay photos of Matt’s things! Matt’s mom passed away when he was young and in his details was a photo pin of her photo. During his prep photos, Matt and his dad pinned this photo inside the left side of his suit coat so it was next to his heart all day. So special! Matt looked so sharp in his suit from Men’s Wearhouse! He even had awesome socks with photos of his mom on them! Super cool! Matt then read a letter from his bride and then Natalie read hers from Matt!
Then it was time for their first look! They wanted their first look to be private and had a vision of seeing each other out by the huge doors Abella has at their outdoor ceremony site! Such a sweet moment shared between these two! We then did couple’s photos and soon after the wedding party joined us! Love all the barn areas this venue has! This was a windy, sunny day so we were able to find some shade and protection from the wind! And you have to check out the matching jean jackets Natalie & her flower girl had! So cute!
After doing some family photos, it was then time for the ceremony! Natalie & Matt got married in the barn at Abella and it was nice and warm for all their guests! Loved the cozy feel and the greenery and lights draping down from the support beams was beautiful! Natalie was walked down by both her parents and Matt was waiting so excitedly at the end of the aisle! After their ceremony ended, they dismissed guests by row and guests enjoyed a social hour. Absolutely loved taking reception detail photos inside the stunning modern white reception barn! And check out their gorgeous cake!
Dinner was served by BRIE Cater and was delicious! Then meaningful toasts happened and the couple was moved to tears by so many of them. Such a special evening! Natalie & Matt then cut their cake by Nothing Bundt Cakes and was so good! And right after, everyone danced! The couple shared their first dance, Natalie & her dad shared a meaningful father/daughter dance, and then Matt’s sisters took turns sharing a special dance with him. Instant Request kept the tunes rolling all night long! Before I left, all the guests went outside and took part in sparkler photos! It was a perfect way to end the evening! Loved this day!
The day started with preparations at Hotel Canopy in the Mill District of Minneapolis! Liza, her mom, and sisters were getting their hair and makeup done by Northeast Hair & Co. and Tanner was getting ready with his dad and brothers in a separate room. There was this feeling of calm but building excitement as everyone got ready! I started out photographing the details and flatlays in one of the side rooms and Tammi at Studio B Floral left some beautiful florals for accents to make the images pop! And that they did! I love the little back stories to each thing a bride and groom wear on their wedding day! Like Liza’s earrings. Her earrings were the ones here dad gave to her mom on their wedding day! Such a special touch. Just before the ladies put their dresses on, Liza’s sisters gave her a wedding day gift that included photos of favorite memories together!
Tanner’s dad helped him tie his tie and Tanner put on his jacket from The Black Tux. His look was sharp and complete! Liza’s mom then helped her into her Che Bella wedding dress and it looked incredible on her! Hugs were exchanged and it was time for her first look with her dad! There was an area of the basement at Hotel Canopy that was warm and quiet – perfect for this! Liza’s dad melted when he saw her! Such a sweet father/daughter relationship! Then Tanner came down and they shared their first look together! Tanner was so happy and they shared a few moments together (meanwhile Liza’s personal attendants were in the corner sobbing!)! 🙂
We then loaded into a limo bus from Eclipse Global Transportation and traveled to the old St. Anthony Main area for photos! We did some photos on Stone Arch and the surrounding areas! Such a beautiful spot! Liza had two bridesmaids, her two sisters! And Tanner had two groomsmen, his two brothers! This made for a super fun, relaxed wedding party dynamic! Their families came on the bus as well and we did immediate family photos in the area as well before heading to the venue. When we arrived at Nicollet Island Pavilion, we were all stunned with the gorgeous set up of the ceremony space that the venue and Dana with Keyed Up Events and just finished! Check out all the tall ornamental grasses! These were freshly cut at the couple’s new home and used to decorate the whole venue! I’m all about this!
Guests began arriving and the ceremony started at 5:00 pm! Loved the joy in this wedding celebration! And I love how these two families have come together! Liza & Tanner’s moms lit the unity candle during the ceremony and shared a hug and a look that you could tell… they were gaining family! Liza & Tanner exchanged vows and were pronounced husband and wife and everyone clapped! Guests enjoyed a fun social hour and I took Liza & Tanner out for a few sunset photos! And at the end of social hour, I noticed the sun was down and beginning to create an incredible sunset! These two were down and we chased the sunset! Check out the photos that resulted! Then, the couple was ready to be introduced into their reception!
Absolutely loved what happened next! As Noah from Beautiful Day DJs welcomed guests in to the reception area, he asked everyone to come onto the dance floor. Once all guests had filtered in, he introduced the couple and they went straight to the dance floor where everyone danced with them until the end of the song! Then, the guests surrounded the dance floor and they shared their first dance as husband and wife! Mintahoe catered a fabulous dinner and then toasts happened! The party continued with a packed dance floor and music! Just before I left, I took Liza & Tanner outside for a few night photos with the lit up skyline in the background! What a perfect way to wrap up and incredible day!
